Under the title PLAY MUSEUM, Schmuck2 continues its previous project focus on
architecture and jewellery and develops a utopia for a contemporary "(jewellery) museum". It
is less about planning a new building, but rather about drawing a museum vision against the
backdrop of a "Schmuck2 collection" digitally processed on thematic complexes such as
hyperreality, representation or valence (...).
In the classical exhibition format, artists and an architect install architecture as jewelry in
public space. The virtual immaterial thus spans the material and, with its interactive
possibilities, involves the visitor on various levels in the shaping of a museum utopia.
